• We had such a special third rehearsal with Tasawwur's third cast today! Fun, intense, and earnest in equal parts, these teenagers really moved us with their willingness to trust, take risks, and take care of each other so early on in their group process. We are incredibly excited thinking about the people they will be and the show they will create by February!

  • Tasawwur launches the third cycle of its transformative arts-for-social-change program for teenagers! Over the course of 100 hours, our cohort of teenage participants work with experienced and passionate facilitators. We use theater, writing, movement, and personal stories to explore and transform the most important social issues these young people face. Along the way, we work on the themes of inclusion, identity, conflict transformation, and leadership. The program culminates in a professional production written and directed by teenagers about the social issues most important to them and their vision for change. When: 13th November to 26th February, every Sunday 12:30 - 5:30 PM (with additional rehearsals during winter break, and shows from 16th-19th February) Where: Association for Ability Development and Inclusion
